Besides common, preventative cleanings, our hygienists provide periodontal cleanings (scaling and root planing or debridement- special below the gingiva (gums) cleanings). In general, it is recommended by the American Dental Association, to have a dental cleaning every 4 to 6 months. In addition to regular dental cleanings, it is recommended to receive a diagnostic exam and X-rays annually to achieve excellent dental hygiene and health.
